About the project

ecoQuest is a concept project done as part of the Google UX Design Certificate.

The problem

Mass tourism causes negative impacts with high environmental and cultural repercussions.

The goal

Design a platform that promotes a more sustainable tourism, focused on experiences and the promotion of local culture.

Understanding the user

The objective was to understand the challenges people face when looking for sustainable destinations, activities and accommodations. To this end, interviews have been conducted, with the aim of identifying the needs of potential users and their habits.

User persona

Two personas were created in order to have a better representation of the end-users.

Information architecture and sitemap

A sitemap was defined to have a visual representation of the organization of the content.
